Ponsse has launched a global Operators Club for forest machine operators, with Finland being the first country where the club will begin its operations. This unique community offers its members, among other benefits, free events and training sessions, opportunities to network with other operators, and direct channel to the Ponsse Vieremä factory – all the way to the company’s owners and product development.

Liquefied gas to be replaced with biogas at Ponsse’s factory
Ponsse seeks to achieve carbon neutrality at its factory in Vieremä by 2025. Considering this goal, the most significant part of emissions comes from the use of liquefied petroleum gas as a fuel in the surface treatment process in production. Liquefied gas will be replaced by a renewable fuel when Ponsse shifts to biogas procured from a local biogas terminal.

For the 19th time, the Einari Vidgrén Foundation is honouring merited forestry professionals. The application is now opened on the Foundation’s website. The 20,000[th] PONSSE forest machine has been completed at Ponsse’s factory in Vieremä, Finland. After the celebration on 11 December, the PONSSE Bear harvester with PONSSE H8 harvester head will go to a Norwegian customer, Lågen Skogsdrift AS.
